And this is a great time to reset health care as we know it today. And so what this created was a backlog of surgeries that are about to be scheduled in ’21 and beyond. And as you know, with coronavirus and I’m sure your audience knows very well, nonurgent surgeries were put on pause in 2020. And we really had a system that really wasn’t working on behalf of the patients. Patients were in high deductible health plans. Prasad: Well, even before the pandemic, the health care costs were exorbitantly high and premiums continued to soar. Where do you think health care in the US is headed?ĭr. And I think you’re going to have some unique perspectives because you’re working deeply both on the clinical as well as the financial side of things.
